Dr. Mariana Balyan is a psychological associate with her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from CSPP Alliant International University.
She has completed her trainings in a variety of settings including outpatient child and family clinics, community mental health centers, and inpatient hospitals where she worked with individuals with diverse diagnoses. Dr. Balyan is a compassionate therapist who adopts a client-centered approach, blending elements of psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. With expertise in addressing a broad spectrum of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, and interpersonal challenges, Dr. Balyan tailors treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering growth, resilience, and well-being.
Dr. Balyan’s dissertation centered on developing a therapeutic intervention designed specifically for female adolescents, aimed at helping them leverage social media as a tool to positively impact their well-being.
